How do I turn the lamp on?

Tap the metal base once to start a slow colour cycle. Tap again to switch to a faster cycle. Tap a third time to lock in a colour you like.

How bright is it? Could I read a book, or study with it?

The Sandelume Radiance™ is designed as an atmospheric nightlight, giving off a soft, calming glow rather than bright task lighting. It’s perfect for creating a relaxing ambience in your space, but it’s not bright enough for reading, studying, or other activities that require focused light.

Does it need to stay plugged in?

Yes! When using the USB cord, the Sandelume needs to remain plugged in. However, with the battery option, it becomes fully portable—allowing you to enjoy it anywhere, anytime, for as long as your batteries last.

How long does it last if I choose to have it battery operated?

On a full charge, the Sandelume Radiance™ operates for approximately 6–8 hours, depending on your chosen brightness setting and colour cycle mode. Please note that three (3) AA batteries are required for the base and are not included with your purchase.

Is it safe to leave on overnight?

Yes — the Sandelume Radiance™ uses low-voltage LED lighting (maximum 5W / 5V output) and stays cool to the touch, making it safe for overnight use. It’s officially designated as an atmospheric nightlight, perfect for gentle bedside or ambient lighting.

How big is it?

The Sandelume Radiance™ stands approximately 20 cm (7.9 in) tall, featuring a glass display 16 cm (6.3 in) wide and a base measuring around 10 cm (3.9 in) in diameter.

Can I use it while it's charging?

Yes! You can keep it plugged in and use it at the same time.

What if my lamp arrives damaged or doesn’t work?

We’ve got you covered. Just email us at support@sandelume.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the issue, and we’ll send a replacement or refund you in full.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

We don’t currently offer gift wrapping, but we make sure your Sandelume arrives safe and sound. The outer box is simple and built for protection during international shipping, while the lamp inside is securely nestled in polyurethane foam to keep it safe in transit—ready to enjoy from the moment you open it.

Your Sandelume Radiance™ ships directly from our fulfilment centre in China, where each lamp is carefully assembled and quality-checked before dispatch. This ensures you receive the best craftsmanship at the most competitive price. Most orders arrive within 7–15 business days.
